The Helen WasserHaus consists of 3 floors, 5 decks, fire pit and a private hot tub space.

The third floor top suite contains a single large bedroom with a dual sink and dual shower heads. This bedroom contains a king size bed, a full size sleeper sofa, a kitchenette, an office space, walk-in closet and 55" curved tv with sound bar and private balcony overlooking the Chattahoochee. This suite sleeps 4 comfortably.

The middle floor contains 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom.

The riverside bedroom consists of a king size bed and plenty of drawer space, along with a full size closet. This room sleeps 2 comfortably.

The street side bedroom contains a queen size bed and side by side bunk beds, allowing this room to sleep 4 comfortably.

Both bedrooms on the 2nd floor have private balconies.

The main floor consists of a very comfortable queen size sleeper sofa and an amazing full size bathroom.

In total, the WasserHaus sleeps a total of 12 individuals. We recommend 8 adults and 4 kids. The 3rd floor sleeper sofa and the 2 twin bunk beds in the street side bedroom are more ideal for children.

History

The Helen WasserHaus was constructed in 1966 with a primary purpose to provide water to the manufacturing plant across the street in the event of a fire. Even though the plant shut down in the early 1990s, the water tank continued to hold approximately 183,000 gallons of water until early 2021.

Amenities

Alpine Helen WasserHaus contains multiple decks, a private hot tub, direct river access, firepit, fiber-optic internet and all televisions are Roku enabled. Each room has a mini-split hvac unit. All appliances, furniture and furnishings are brand new. The property is within walking distance to the city center and all the local attractions and fantastic restaurants. Toss your fly rod off the banks or wade in the shallow water into one of the best honey-holes in the county.
